This series chronicles my experience living at Pratt, focusing on the architectural characteristics from Fort Green to Nostrand Ave. Pratt’s architectural identity straddles a demographic divide—caught in a wave of gentrification. Instead of focusing on the people in my neighborhood, I try to trace this gradual creep of gentrification by showing the concrete differences of the buildings (materials, design, affluence) between which Pratt is sandwiched.
