Skin tones

2022

This project was inspired by my exploration of the history of film photography, primarily about how much color film has failed to depict darker skin tones accurately. I wanted to focus on the skin itself and not the body as a whole, exploring how humans manipulate skin both literally and figuratively. I captured models’ interactions with their own skin ranging from aggressive grips to the most tender caress.
